Gendered Challenges in the Cybersecurity Industry

This chapter discusses the experiences of women in the cybersecurity industry, highlighting the advantages they initially saw in being a woman but also the disadvantages they faced as they grew older. It explores concerns about career growth, lack of representation, and the invisible glass ceiling that hinders women's advancement. The chapter also introduces the experiences of transgender woman Eve Wood in the industry and touches upon issues of respect, pay disparity, and the struggle to demand fair pay.
