Is There a Basic Level of Causation in the World?

I don't even know how to begin talking about it let alone. Yeah, so one possibility is this, I mean I think it could have turned out that there are several different basic levels of causation in the world. And likewise maybe at the level of thought, not even putting aside consciousness but just in terms of the connection of ideas, you know reasoning and thinking reasoning and so on that there's a another basic level of causation there. So I think explanation. It's turned out that we don't need the multiple levels or at least we haven't needed them so far. But this one thing consciousness we do need a different level, a second basic level.
