The Importance of Understanding Self Esteem

I think the more puzzling thing for me in terms of self esteem is where this evaluation comes from. I would also agree with the aspect that self esteem is a subjective construct by definition. It's not possible at all to matter it validly by any objective criteria that you could assess even if you have lots of information about people on an objective way.
