The Importance of Speed in Computing
There have been people in the world of crypto who have asked for things like that. If I ever wrote an important thing anywhere in memory, how quickly could I get that zeroed after I'm done with it? So they kind of ask about that. And it's been proposed. We don't know what's the best way. Is there no way for them to just programmatically change it to a different value? The problem here is that the compiler sees that they're doing a bunch of rights to something that they're not going to read or do anything with. It would be slower and people don't like slower.
