The Effects of Sexual Choking on Sexual Behavior
40% of participants had partaken in sexual choking. Being choked was more common in women than men. The primary form of choking participants engaged in utilized manual choking with one's hands that rather than a ligature. On average, intensity of choking was on the low end at 3.8 out of 10 but men reported using higher intensity when choking upon it than women did.
