What Is a Data Breach?

A data breach occurs when information is obtained by an unauthorized party in a fashion in which it was not intended to be made available. It doesn't matter if you hack or if the company just made a booboo, it's a data breach. Soi remember when everybody thought that e cloud got hacked because, a, who was it? The woman that carried the little dog around? A, ta, theas terrible security questions. Yes, she had bad security questions cause they were all about her dog. And somebody got into her account. But does that actually change the effect on the people whose data it was? Weet just that those two words, data breach.
