"I was like, you know what? I'll just go take my architecture studio courses because I'm going to be an architect. Nobody told me that if you have two consecutive semesters under a 2.25 in the school of the architecture, you get kicked out of school," she says. "From that point forward, I'm Dean's list every semester because now I don't have this stuff on my shoulders anymore."
