Is There a Market for Automobiles?
If selling the automobile has a limited shelf life, how selling driving, then there's an endless demand for that in a sense. That's a really important distinction between selling the car and selling the driving. We need to get them to sort of redefine congestion as not enough road space. Same thing with crashes. The people who wanted a growing market for cars said, no, we have to redefine safety as making fast driving safe. And that means building special highways and so on.
