Nobody has ever witnessed hagfish breeding well, and nobody has ever had a hagfish successfully breed in captivity to produce fertile eggs. No hagfish stork is doing a deep dive to deliver a slimy bundle of so for now, it just remains a mystery for us to ruminate on. They they eat a lot when they eat, but they don't eat frequently. We typically only feed them every three to six months.
