Is There a Super Volcano?
The amount of crust that has to be lifted to do a super volcano is probably bigger than the massof crust that has ever been ejected by an asteroid. Often this is what triggers volcanic eruptions, not an asteroid. If you smack the top of a volcano, you can uncork it and reveal release the pressure inside. But th if the earth is going to do asuper volcano, it's, it's going to happen, and it's going To be bad.
