Is Miles for Cozigan a for Coziverse Character?

I've heard a lot of people say that if you like Tyrion Lannister as a character, you'll also like Miles for Cozigan. I was just wondering do you see similarities between the two characters? Well, I have not read Game of Thrones yet, so I don't know. The Russian fandom has found my books approachable simply because of the Russian ancestry that I gave barrier. They were not used to seeing any kind of positive picture of Russia or Russians coming from Cold War American science fiction. So I think it struck a chord for them.
