Is Magic the Gathering a Long Time to Go?

I was very much a DCI ranked Magic the gathering player back when they called it type two instead of standard. I also play a crap ton of Pokemon TCG, but that's mostly kitchen table with my six girls. In fact, I was at an a armory event last night,. which is flesh and bloods equivalent of the Friday night magic, uh, Brank to bet.
