The Story of Paul's Conversion
In the first account of paul's conversion, in acts chapter nine, ananias receives the commission for paul that he is supposed to give to him. The second account, when paul relates it in chapter 22, he tells of ananias delivering the commission to him. This serves a number of purposes in paul's telling. It places a greater accent upon the commission than you in the other accounts. And as we will see, it also allows paul to fill the role played by ananias in a number of key ways.
