Bradwell and the other Morgan servants hated him from the moment they set eyes on him. Erika Morgan did succeed in teaching him to be clean, though he left his snail trail of saliva wherever his snout brushed by. He slept through all warnings of intruders given by the Scotty's and allowed strangers to walk past him up to the front door without so much as a bark. It had proved impossible to anthropomorphize him into a handsome, dignified, well-behaved bully boy. The final touch came when she found a lovely mate for him, a beautiful, brindle bully girl for her bully boy.
