The Distinctiveness of Channel Four
When we started, the first half dozen films or so that i made for channel four were international programms. We've all had our heads turned to a greater or lesser extent by streaming surfices like netflix and apple t vand. What does that look like from an industry perspective? And in what way would a privatized channel for either increase or tal the power of those streaming services? The interesting thing is that the government's position on this seems to be quite confused, because they don't seem to understand that streaming services are a kind of in a completely different space to channel four.
