What Is God's Spirit?
It takes a lot of imagination and clearing my brain for us to even be able to begin to talk about what on earth the bible means by god's spirit. So one is, i think, to have a sympathetic reading of what the biblical authors are trying to say when they use this word. Yes, we need to check our world view categories at the door and understand what they meant. But what we then have to do at some point is come back and relate it to our view of the universe. Would argue that ultimately we end up in the same place. For you have a different understanding of the physical mechanismsand processes by which the universe works. And ruach is a way of talking
