Is Outrage a Social Signalling Quality?
i don't think i would have survived graduate school in the age of twitter. Twitter doesn't offer a dislike but right, sir, like we don't get social feedback from people who see what we say and either ignore it or disapprove. And even if they did, maybe they wouldn't use it, right? So, like, the feedback that we're getting is not the full picture of how we are being socially perceived. This is particularly sing in the case of academi because the the academic population who is active on twitter is certainly not representative of the broader academic population.
