The History of Baer AG

By 1963, Baer once again employed nearly 80,000 people and sales had grown to approximately 4.7 billion Deutschmarks. By 1987, 78% of the Baer group sales were made outside of Germany. In 1988, Baer celebrated the 125th anniversary of its founding. At that time, while the company employed more than 165,000 people worldwide, additionally, Baer AG became the first German company to list shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
