The Different Types of Trucks
Euro standards limit the quantity of different pollutants that can be emitted from a truck. With each progressive Euro standard, limits have been tightened because better pollution-reducing technology has become available. Australia's trucks are required to meet the Euro 5 standard, which was introduced all the way back in 2011. But most other countries including North America and Europe require their trucks to meet Euro 6 standards. So not all trucks are equal.
