In 1984, A.H. Robbins announced a program to warn women about the risk of the Dalcon shield and offered to pay the cost of removal for any women still using one. The important health warning is for women still using the Dal Con shield, an IUD birth control device obtained in the early to mid 1970s. Call your doctor or clinic for an appointment or call Robbins toll free. Talk about too little, too late.
