The Trinity Test
Christopher Nolan wrote the film in first person as a reminder to everyone making it that this was going to be a very intimate character study. A large part of the film is very much from Oppenheimer's point of view. And then I don't want to give it away. Christopher Nolan and I spoke about this in the interview. You've just heard, as he has said, he wanted the Trinity test to be a show stopper. And it is. It's a big explosion, but not like one,. you see, this is not Michael Bay people, nothing wrong with Michael Bay. But this is not just blowing shit up on screen.
