HTC's new virtual reality headset has a screen on the front that you don't see. The Vive uses eye tracking to let users make eye contact with people in real life. HTC says it is about reducing isolation and eliminating awkwardness of having this thing And we'll have to see whether that plays out in reality But I think that's definitely the the aim of it.
