The Decline of Neuroplasticity as We Age
Carson: Plasticity definitely declines as you age. In fact, there are lots of operations that are possible for children. If the kid's over six, I mean, if we took out half your brain, you'd be dead. But a kid under six, all the functions of the brain sort of just rewire on the available real estate. So kids brains are really, truly much more plastic.
