Many local authorities tried to step up to deal with the numbers of people who were coming through. The government was really trying to take over the response from civil society ad in groups like that. So many of these censors, a nedarsin, ouknow, it looked like a place where children could easily be kidnapped. Many women families simply decided to go back because they found moving around too difficult for them and so staying in poland 'was attractive'
