Do We Reward the Smart People Who Make Informed Decisions?

If we publish these tried and tested insights in textbooks, teach them to hundreds of thousands of students every year. We assume we reward the smart people who make informed decisions. But unfortunately, I don't think any of those three things do happen. So many of the books which are dedicated ESG books will be again the idea of shareholders of value using frameworks. They're all about things which are more shooting from the hip. Unfortunately, the marketplace is not one in which all of those things are happening.
