Aristotle's Friendship of Utility

Aristotle said that a friendship of utility is unstable because what's useful shifts in changes over time. Aristotle thought there was another kind of friendship, which you call friendship of virtue or friendship of excellence. And virtues for Aristotle are these habits that we gain through repeated action. I can only become courageous if I repeatedly do acts of courage.
