The Importance of Learning a Different Language

I feel like that having your characters describe another language is going, it must be a very difficult thing. So basically I tried to, the linguistic situation is realistic and is fully, fully developed,. Even if I don't actually dive into the details of the language itself in the text. But then there's also authors who like, Patrick Rothwuss who I love, but like he describes their language in this weird way talking about how the quote unquote cadence affects the meaning of a word. Was that like, grown up? I hate that so much.
