Do You Need to Re-Invent the Wheel and Ride?
I think you do not need to reinvent the wheel and ride. And so don't be shy about asking for people for syllabus. The one thing that was super helpful on that regard for me was to, at least for my first class, follow a book more more strictly. For each kind of like chapter, I picked one of the books that I thought did it better and then followed that book in terms of slides.
