The Intentions and Capabilities of Russia

NATO has two contradictory ideas in mind and believes them both, writes Alexander Nekrassov. It's not a difference between Russia's intentions and its capabilities, he says. We have about 30 years of a documentary record on Putin's intentions - we know they were to conquer most of Ukraine. But there was never any indication except for Western propaganda about Russian threats to Finland and Sweden; if you think about it, it's just inconceivable. The whole top US diplomatic corps with any knowledge of Russia has been warning Washington that it is reckless and dangerous to try to cross this red line.
