The Fortress of the Immaculate Conception

In 17 79, spain joined the american war of independence. The governor of british jamaica developed some very grand notions. He identified a single fort in modern day nicaragua that he believed was the key to all of spanish America. Nelson took it upon himself to insure this dubious enterprise succeeded. By now, nelson was so sick with yellow fever that he had to be evacuated back up the river and all the way back to jamaica. To everyone's surprise, the fortress of the immaculate conception surrendered to the british.
