Jesse Pooji: I believe the idea of stability in corporate America is a complete fallacy. Before Morning Brew, he worked for a year at Morgan Stanley and it was his dream job. He felt crazy to take the leap of faith into entrepreneurship at that point. Jesse says most great founders didn't take leaps of faith. They took things that would more resemble educated steps in their careers.
Episode 55: Alex Lieberman (@businessbarista) talks about the mirage of corporate stability. Something he experienced during his time at Morgan Stanley, which he thought was a dream job. It turns out that job security isn’t that secure when your company goes through layoffs. Having a corporate job isn’t bad, but it should be noted that loyalty to a company is often a one-way street.
