The Big Star Paintings
Valdemer was very interested to find paintings that i hadn't much noticed last time, coming forward. There's a broigal griz painting, all monochrome, which i'd never properly looked at. And a brilliant reuben's deposition. A sketch, a just heartbreaking, a sense of christ's weight and the possibility that he might be dropped at any moment. That's the alis rate sketch for the descent from the crs in antwerp. I mean, that's the absolute masterpiece to have here in brittain a swiss.
