Jeremy Corbyn has been targeted pretty much his whole career with this essentially smear of anti-Semitism so before he became labor party leader there were attacks against him in situations that he was anti-Semitic for wanting to investigate the way a conservative government at the time had banned a Palestinian political leader from visiting the country. The Jewish Chronicle put out an article misquoting Jeremy Corbyn claiming that he had called for an investigation of the Jewish lobby which was completely untrue.
