The Role of CRP Officers in the State Police
I want to know from you, so in case a CRP of a contingent is deployed for law and order. So how does the command structure actually work? What extent does the union have seen? To what extent the senior officials of the police of the particular state have the authority to issue orders? Whom do these CRP officers report to? How does the reporting structure work? And in case any, I mean, what is the extent of their powers? Can they arrest? Can they detain? They can't prosecute because that power will eventually lie only with the state government.
