The Citizen Marketer
The citizen marketer is when citizens, participation in elections increasingly follows the logics and structures of viral marketing. When you look at what people are doing online with politics, hashtag campaigns or sharing viral videos, these kind of techniques are really straight out of a book called 'Viral Marketing' So I actually started this whole project really looking at things like people wearing t-shirts with slogans on them out in public - which marketers have used for a long time.
