An Introduction to Analytic Philosophy

This style of reasoning isn't confined to the nineteenth century or greek philosophy. But it's not being very popular in twentieth century amongst analytic philosophers. It's something almost that's been despised, right? One way of drawing a distinction is how these two traditions of philosophy respond to genealogy. A lot of continental philosophers think we should be attending the historical, sociological and so on, origins of beliefs and practices. Whereas early analytic philosophers were really sceptical that there was anything of philosophical importance to be learned from the origins of things.
