Dante's Birth in Tuscany
Dante was born in Florence, Tuscany which is to the north uh west of Italy. At the time of Dante's birth there have already been these incredibly violent and um axillic that is resulting in exiles struggles between the wealths and the gibberines. The bones that they were picking with each other are extremely obscure and arcane but those principles are involved and are motivating a lot of this conflict. In many ways we find him at the opening of this whole text at his lowest point rightUm he in some sense losing a political home losing your political influence at this time is like having all your idols smashed at once right it's like what can you be thrown back on?
