The Importance of Rand in the History of the Aesthetics

I want to circle back to it from and I was thinking to myself, this may be too much my over reliance on certain trades of the of the contingency. The question that I would pose is how much how generalizable do you feel the the various aspects of the picture you paint here are beyond Rand or maybe the influence of Rand. In other words, did Rand reproduce itself, or did Rand merge with an aesthetic that lent itself to isomorphisms? It's a very difficult question because as a scholar of Europe as well that this is very clearly a US centric book.
