Can We Enforce Players Not Going Back to the Club House on Their Phones During Games?
During games, players are on their phones. It did not occur to me ever to have a written rule that you cannot bring a phone on to the field. The best we could come up with was actually locking the club house during games. We said, just ask the clubby to go back and do it. But they wanted to make their own choice. So we had to open the club house. And we tried to enforce the no phone rule to no avail. so players, during games right now, are on their phone. That's just how it goes.
