Twitter has function is what I call the front page of the internet. It's a way to create consensus on the internet Which is an illusion probably in the same way that all pop culture is kind of an illusion or at least like a fever dream That we all agree on. If you think about all the different platforms of the internet Reddit tumblr Pinterest Instagram TikTok especially There's all this activity happening there And there really isn't an easy way to get a consensus on what's big on TikTok other than using their own metrics which aren't great.
