Async IO Is a Great Way to Do Things Like Web Scraping

I think that it's been a little bit of a mixed bag in the terms of the reception that people have had. I've had examples where I'm doing something like web scraping or actually got a message from somebody who listened to Python Bites, my other podcast. So there's certainly a category of things where it's amazing. There's definitely a lot of cases where people are not necessarily using it correctly and they're hoping to like add alittle bit of async into an existing thing. And that doesn't always work as well as just building something that'sync from the start.
