Game Studies in 2006 - A Book Review

It feels like maybe it was written eight years after it was published. It is weirdly like a very forward thinking book. In 2006, game studies could have gone a lot of different ways. And I think ultimately, this is my feeling about this book, game studies didn't go this way.
