How to Prove a Thing
There's research that shows that taking breaks, right, and doing something else can help you focus. So I also do a lot of writing in my mind. Many of the chapters of So Good They Can Ignore You were outlined on my walk back from campus where I was a postdoc at the time to my apartment across the Charles River. Because you could write in your mind, you can solve problems in your mind. It takes practice, but maybe not as much as you think.
