What We Can and Can't Know

Theories aren't just narratives about the world because they actually allow you to build stuff. And also the attempt to divorce scientific theories from technology and engineering is itself a completely unreasonable and irrational thing to do. We cannot know, for example, how to write down proofs of theorems that are demonstrably not provable in good or sense. But as someone who endorses a rational worldview informed by the best ideas we have, then I think we can make some claims about what we can and cannot know.
