The Israeli Defense of Israel

Under international law, Israel is responsible for the welfare of the occupied Palestinian until the issue of occupation is resolved. When Israel invades a place like Janine, most of the residents of that place are refugees who should be protected under international law. What Israel is saying is that it's defensive in the sense that Palestinians are resisting. Sadly, Washington more or less agrees with the Israeli perspective.
