The West Berlin Wall
The wall technically stands just inside the East German border. Artists responsible for such acts of vandalism are putting themselves at risk. Doors that have been built into the wall are sometimes used by guards to kidnap West Berliners who get too close. But when it comes to live music performances, it's a different story. With sets performed deliberately close to the wall, some bands hope to reach audiences in the East as well.
