How to Deal With Regulators and IP Risk
When you have a deal that's reportable to the regulators, you need to make a filing with each of those regulators. You never want to include in your internal documentation anything that could be deemed anti competitive or something that is disparaging of the other side of the regulators. So these making sure that your documentation, which again, ends up being pulled and submitted to the regulators is clean or as clean as possible will be key given this current regulatory environment.
