Adoption

Peter says from that very first meeting he felt an undeniable bond with his birth family who welcomed him with open arms. Sadly, things haven't gone as well between Peter and his adoptive parents. He was met at the door of their home by a father who said, you saved our marriage. And then said, we burnt the papers when you're a teen because you're always ours. The adopted mother was very frail, they were frail at that time. There was no point, it was too late to try and explain things or argue it out or anything. It was just too like it was just too old, too frail. So yeah, I left a meeting with a different perspective of things
