Peter says from that very first meeting he felt an undeniable bond with his birth family who welcomed him with open arms. Sadly, things haven't gone as well between Peter and his adoptive parents. The adopted mother was very frail, they were frail at that time. There was no point, it was too late to try and explain things or argue it out or anything.
