The Threat of Autonomous Vehicles in North America

There are currently about 300 million vehicles in operation in North America. 19 million new vehicles come into the system every year, and it prots we need 13 million leave for wear and tire or accidents as a result of them. Even though my car had certain features in it, he still couldn't prevent the actual accident. My point is it'll be a long time before we get to a point where autonomous becomes a true threat.
