Roseanne Quinn was a teacher at St. Joseph's School for the Deaf in New York City. She had polio and felt unattractive because of it so she spent nights at home with her friends. On January 2nd 1973, Roseanne went to a neighborhood bar where she met John Walker who would go on to become one of her best friends. The two were engaged but he died before they could consummate their relationship.
